Backtracking a little here, but let me talk about the first comics of Season 6. An awesome two-hour premiere, so two pages of comics. Luckily the next day was MLK Day, so I was off work and could concentrate on something important: honoring the memory of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Then it was on to the comics. I quickly dicovered, much like 24 the show, it helps to summarize who people are, so from the very beginning you’ll see little captions of names, maybe editorial comments. I try not to overdo it.

What seemed blatantly obvious to me in the premiere: product placement. Yahoo, Toyota… and just in case we’re all slow, right after Jack would use the product, they’d cut to commercial and tell us about it. At least they didn’t have Jack go to BoRics for and $8 haircut in 8 minutes (who cuts their hair that fast? Jack is the man in all areas, including personal grooming).

Episode highlight: a special guest appearance by Michael Imperioli.
My favorite line: Jack - “Guess this is all me again.”
